Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve the improvement in heat exchanging efficiency by separating mist or liquid from gas by the use of a vapor-liquid separator then again uniformly mixing these at the inlet of an exchanger in the case of supplying mixed media to a multifluid-heat-exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: The gas mixed with mist or liquid is sent through a piping 2 into a vapor-liquid separator 1, where it is separated to gas and liquid. The gas passes through a piping 3, is detected 11 of its flow rate and is sent to the multifluid-heat- exchanger 6. On the other hand, the liquid is pressurized by a pump 5, passes through a piping 4, is detected 14 of its flow rate, is sent to a nozzle 7, so that it is injected into the piping 3 from the nozzle 17 and is thereby uniformly mixed in the gas. The gas is then sent into a multifluid-heat-exchanger 6, where the heating of the liquefied natural gas in the piping 8 and the mixed heating media in the piping 9 are accomplished by the latent heat of its condensation and sensible heat. Here, the signals detected by the detectors 11, 14 are sent respectively to a rate controller 16, a flow control valve 15, etc., whereby the liquid of the amount conforming to the amount of the gas is injected from the nozzle 7.
