Abstract

The water heating system using solar heat, has water circulated through the solar heat collectors (4) and a hot water storage tank (1). The circuit includes a system for protection against frost and against overheating. Between the top and bottom connection (10, 11) for the heat collectors are lines (6, 7) which incorporate valve (8, 9) connecting the water to the tank and to a bottom discharge point (12). These valves are controlled from a central regulator unit (14) which also controls the pump (18). This unit is also connected to a temperature sensor (15) at the highest point of the collectors and to a second temperature sensor (16) inside the tank. There is also an air escape valve (20) at the highest point of the collectors.
