Abstract

Composition à résistance améliorée à la recuisson. Elle comprend, en % en poids 54-71 % de SiO2 , 12-18 % de Al2 O3 , 4-8 % de CaO, 10-23 % de BaO et 0-3 % de R2 O, R étant un ion de métal alcalin, avec de légères quantités d'impuretés éventuelles, de fondants résiduels et d'agents d'affinage, cette composition étant telle que la teneur SiO2 + Al2 O3 se situe approximativement dans la gamme comprise entre 73 % et 83 % en poids, que la teneur BaO + CaO se situe approximativement dans la gamme comprise entre 17 % et 30 % en poids, et que le rapport entre le pourcentage en poids de BaO et le pourcentage en poids de CaO se situe dans une gamme comprise entre 2,3 et 3,5. Application au scellement des conducteurs d'amenée des lampes électriques.
