Abstract

Commutateur comportant, dans un boîtier de chambre d'extinction, qui peut être rempli de gaz isolant, un contact principal fixe, un contact de rupture fixé, un contact principal mobile, un contact de rupture mobile et un piston de soufflage. Un des contacts de rupture 22 est disposé à l'intérieur d'un premier corps de contact 21 qui supporte un corps creux 24 constitué par un matériau dégageant un gaz d'extinction sous l'influence d'un arc électrique et dont le diamètre extérieur est égal à celui du premier corps de contact 21, tandis que son diamètre intérieur est au moins égal à celui du contact de rupture 22. Application aux commutateurs électriques, notamment pour moyenne tension.
