Abstract

The installation comprises a solar energy unit connected into one of two coils in a heat exchanger. The other coil heats a swimming pool. The fluid form the heat exchanger is circulated by a heat pump and can also pass through a smaller heat exchanger. This latter feeds the heating unit in the house and its heat supply can be obtained directly from the solar energy unit or through the larger heat exchanger. Sensors control the heat pump and various distribution valves to automatically take advantage of the best heat extraction.
