Abstract
PURPOSE: To avoid delay of hot water temperature rise time due to the extension of a hot water supply piping by a method wherein a heat-insulating hot water storage tank is provided in series in the course of a hot water supply piping near a tap being located remote from an instantaneous hot-water heater, and an automatically controlled heater is fitted to the tank.
CONSTITUTION: A heat-insulating hot water storage tank 7 is provided at a point within an extremely short distance l1 from a tap 6, and a power source 9 is kept made, so that water (hot water) in the tank 7 is kept warm or hot by a heater 8. The tank 7 is so designed that, when the hot water temperature has fallen below a setpoint, a sensor 10 operates and a heating control unit 11 works for heating. With the tap 6 opened, hot water in the tank 7 is first tapped rapidly. In addition, a large flash boiler 4 is ignited simultaneously with the opening of the tap 6, so that hot water of preset temperature is tapped from the tap 6 successively. Thus, delay of hot water temperature rise time can be avoided.
