Abstract
PURPOSE:To heat an amount of water necessary for store in order to save energy, by making the setting of the amount of hot water to be stored variable. CONSTITUTION:In a hot water storing tank 2 that is communicative with a heat exchanger 3 for heating are arranged a plurality of temperature sensors 4 for detecting amounts of stored hot water H1-H5. One of the amounts of hot water to be boiled and stored H1-H5 is optionally selected by a hot water storing amount setting circuit in a control circuit 11 so that when the set amount of hot water to be stored is attained, the burning operation of a burner 9 is stopped. The hot water storing amount setting circuit may be connected with a timer circuit so that the necessary amount of hot water to be stored necessary for a certain period can be set automatically, or it can be arbitrarily set manually.
