Abstract

L'invention concerne la fabrication d'éléments de wagons de chemins de fer ayant une excellente résistante à l'usure. Elle se rapporte à une fonte de composition particulière, déversée du moule en sable à une température supérieure à une température particulière et pouvant se refroidir à l'air, si bien que la fonte a une microstructure aciculaire brute de coulée contenant très peu de perlite et de carbures. Application à la réalisation d'éléments de wagons de chemins de fer.
