Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil pour détecter la présence d'une substance spécifique dans un courant gazeux. L'appareil comprend une chambre de détection 12, 14 dans laquelle passe un papier réactif de contrôle 16, une source lumineuse 24, un moyen réagissant à la lampe 24 pour engendrer un faisceau lumineux et le diriger vers le papier 16, un dispositif de détection de faisceau lumineux 42 réagissant au degré de coloration du papier 16 en réponse à une exposition à la substance spécifique contenue dans le courant gazeux, un amplificateur 48 fournissant un signal de sortie proportionnel à la coloration du papier 16 et un moyen relié à l'amplificateur pour générer un signal fournissant une indication instantanée de la concentration de la substance à contrôler. Application : détection d'un gaz dans un mélange gazeux.
