Abstract

Procédé de fabrication de filaments ou fibres hydrophiles présentant une structure à noyau-manteau à partir de polymères synthétiques fibrogènes, ayant une porosité d'au moins 10 % et une capacité de rétention d'eau d'au moins 10 % pour un gonflement de fibre qui est plus faible que la capacité de rétention d'eau, par filature d'une solution de polymère d'après le procédé de filature au mouillé avec filières sèches, caractérisé en ce que les filaments, directement après la sortie de la filière et avant le processus de coagulation proprement dit dans le bain de précipitation, sont mis en contact avec de la vapeur d'eau ou la vapeur d'un autre liquide coagulant les filaments.
