Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un matériau poreux d'isolation acoustique composé d'aluminium ou d'alliage d'aluminium. Ce matériau est formé en combinant les intervalles des particules de la poudre d'aluminium ou d'alliage d'aluminium en un corps par frittage et liaison des pores parmi les particules de ladite poudre. Ce matériau fritté est obtenu en mélangeant l'aluminium ou un alliage d'aluminium avec un alliage d'aluminium à bas point de fusion par moulage du mélange dans une forme déterminée et par frittage de celui-ci à une température inférieure d'au moins 10 degrés C au point de fusion du matériau de base et supérieure à celui du matériau à bas point de fusion. Applications : isolation acoustique de véhicules à grande vitesse.
