Abstract
L'invention concerne un alliage à base de fer à haute limite élastique, résistant à la corrosion par l'eau de mer. L'alliage contient en proportions pondérales moins de 0,15 % de carbone, moins de 2 % de manganèse, moins de 1,5 % de silicium, moins de 0,03 % de soufre et de phosphore, de 34 à 40 % de nickel, de 16 à 21 % de chrome, de 6 à 18 % de cobalt, de 2 à 3,5 % de molybdène, moins de 0,25 % d'aluminium, de 2,5 à 3,5 % de titane, moins de 2% de tungstène, moins de 0,015 % de bore, le reste à l'exception des impuretés inévitables, étant constitué par du fer. L'alliage est destiné, en particulier, à la fabrication de pièces pour câbles sous-marins ou pour périscopes.
