Abstract

The head is used on a butane or propane torch and comprises a supply tube provided with a connector for attaching to the gas supply; an injector and main air supply are included. At the outlet, the tube (10) is screwed internally (15) for a bush (18) and externally (13) for a burner nozzle (16). The bore (21) in the bush provides the main flame path, its shoulder (24) within the tube deviating some gas mixt. through side holes (14) in the tube. This mixt. passes (25) into the nozzle and through a mesh (22) to provide a pilot flame.
