Abstract

Dans le corps 1, les canaux 5, 6 de circulation du liquide de refroidissement sont normaux aux portions de la surface de tuyère 2 les plus chauffées pendant le fonctionnement. Quand le liquide de refroidissement vient frapper frontalement cette surface, la dissipation de la chaleur est accrue de manière appréciable et la puissance admissible du chalumeau augmentée. Si l'arc plasmagène est amorcé sur la surface latérale de la tuyère 2, les canaux de refroidissement 5, 6 arrivent radialement à cette surface radiale. Si le chalumeau a des bobines électro-magnétiques pour la commande du jet plasma, le liquide de refroidissement est amené de façon à assurer un refroidissement intense de la surface frontale de la tuyère.
