Abstract

Dans l'appareil selon l'invention une longueur de ruban 36 débitée par des galets 74 et 76 forme un cercle autour d'un paquet 62. L'extrémité libre 64 du ruban est saisie par un moyen de préhension constitué d'une enclume 80 combinée à une mâchoire 82. Le ruban est ensuite tiré en arrière par l'inversion du sens de rotation des galets. Une tension plus élevée est appliquée au ruban par un guide 88 à commande pneumatique. La partie 64 du ruban et une partie contiguë superposée sont ensuite maintenues par un élément à mâchoire 96 et un élément mobile opposé 100 pendant la formation de l'attache. La tension dans le ruban est ensuite relâchée progressivement avant que le ruban soit sectionné par la lame 120, ce qui évite un effet de choc sur l'attache et sur l'appareil. Application : cerclage à l'aide de rubans métalliques, plastiques ou métalliques avec revêtement plastique.
