Abstract

Dispositif de changement de résolution de données graphiques. Le dispositif sert aussi bien à la compression qu'à la décompression des données relatives aux images. Un dispositif 15 permet de suivre les contours de l'image et fournit pour, chaque élément retenu, des coordonnées cartésiennes i et j. Ces coordonnées sont orientées vers des compteurs-décompteurs 29a et 29b dont les sorties sont multipliées en 100 et 102 par un facteur d'échelle prédéterminé. Les coordonnées dilatées sont obtenues en 31b. Pour compression, les sorties de 100 et 102 passent par les bascules 108 et 110 des comparateurs 104 et 106 et un codeur de déplacements 21.
