Abstract
Des procédés et des systèmes sont proposés pour dimensionner un fret mobile (102) en mouvement le long d'un trajet (104). Un exemple de système comprend une pluralité de générateurs de ligne de laser (106) configurés pour émettre des faisceaux laser coplanaires formant un rideau laser (108) orienté perpendiculairement au sol et incliné vers la direction du trajet (104) du fret mobile (102). Une caméra est configurée pour capturer une série d'images bidimensionnelles du fret alors qu'il passe à travers le rideau laser (108). En plus, un capteur de positionnement (112) est configuré pour détecter la position et l'orientation du fret mobile (102) alors qu'il passe à travers le rideau laser (108). Un dispositif informatique en communication avec la caméra et le capteur de positionnement (112) corrèle chaque image bidimensionnelle successive avec chaque position et orientation correspondantes du fret pour obtenir une forme tridimensionnelle composite du fret.
