Abstract

The combined lock and catch is for use on furniture doors esp. the control panel of a T.V. set. The lock is of the cylinder type with the rotor extending axially to form a round section bolt with a conical head. A circumferential groove separates the head from the body of the bolt. The bolt enters a hole (6) for the groove to be engaged by a leg (4) of a forked spring-clip (2). The groove is deepened locally to locate the leg (4) when the rotor occupies the locked position. The shallow section of the groove is otherwise engaged by the leg, catching the door at closure even though the rotor occupies the open position.
