Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour une application topique, permettant d'empêcher ou de soulager les complications associées au diabète mellitus, se composant de cataractes et de rétinopathie. Selon l'invention, elle comprend une solution aqueuse à pH de l'ordre de 6, d'environ 0,5 % à environ 1,5 % d'hydroxyéthyl cellulose et d'environ 2,0 % à environ 12,5 % d'acide 1,3-dioxo-1H-benzØd,eõisoquinoline-2(3H)-acétique. L'invention s'applique notamment aux soins ophtalmiques.
