Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour une application topique, permettant d'empêcher ou de soulager les complications associées au diabète mellitus, se composant de cataractes et de rétinopathie. L'invention s'applique notamment aux soins ophtalmiques.Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition for topical application, for preventing or alleviating complications associated with diabetes mellitus, consisting of cataracts and retinopathy. According to the invention, it comprises an aqueous solution at a pH of the order of 6, from about 0.5% to about 1.5% of hydroxyethyl cellulose and from about 2.0% to about 12.5%. 1,3-dioxo-1H-benzØd, eõisoquinolin-2 (3H) -acetic acid. The invention applies in particular to ophthalmic care.
