Abstract

On met de la cellulose en suspension dans un oxyde d'amine, de l'eau et, éventuellement, un liquide organique non solvant de la cellulose jusqu'à absorption du mélange liquide par la cellulose, à une température à laquelle celle-ci ne se dissout pas; on élimine éventuellement le liquide organique non solvant et on obtient en résidu un produit cellulosique solide contenant l'oxyde d'amine absorbé et une petite proportion d'humidité, qu'on peut convertir en une solution de cellulose par simple chauffage. La solution de cellulose obtenue peut elle-même être façonnée en fibres, pellicules, etc., selon les techniques habituelles.
