Abstract

Procédé pour la production de glycérine à partir d'un mélange comprenant de l'épichlorhydrine et une ou plusieurs glycérol chlorhydrines par hydrolyse. On conduit l'hydrolyse à 50-75 degrés C en utilisant un système de réaction liquide à deux phases constitué d'une phase aqueuse contenant au moins 0,5 % en poids d'un carbonate de métal alcalin et d'une phase de solvant organique ayant une solubilité dans l'eau inférieure à 0,5 % en poids et une constante diélectrique inférieure à 10. Ce produit glycérine, obtenu sous la forme d'une solution aqueuse à la fin de l'hydrolyse, est d'une haute pureté, contenant une quantité minimale de diglycérol éthers et de composés du même genre, et peut être facilement purifié par des techniques classiques pour donner un produit de qualite acceptable pour le commerce.
