Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation de 2-pyrrolidones substituées en position N, renfermant éventuellement un substituant alcoyle à l'atome de carbone en position 3 et/ou 4. On soumet le succinonitrile à une hydrogénation en présence d'une amine primaire et on met le produit obtenu en réaction avec de l'eau. Avec le procédé suivant l'invention on a une matière de départ meilleur marché et la conversion peut être effectuée dans un temps considérablement plus court.
