Abstract

a. Procédé par saponification de cyanures d'acyle. b. Procédé caractérisé en ce que l'on traite d'abord les cyanures d'acyle, de la formule Il dans un solvant organique ou un mélange de ces solvants, liquide et inerte, dans les conditions de la réaction, d'abord avec de l'acide chlorhydrique gazeux, et ensuite, à une température se situant entre - 70 degrés C et + 70 degrés C environ, avec de l'eau et transforme l'amide d'acide carboxylique de formule III ainsi formé, éventuellement après séparation intermédiaire, d'une façon connue, par hydrolyse acide ou alcaline, en acide alpha -cétocarboxylique de la formule I. c. Procédé applicable à la fabrication de produits intermédiaires pour transamination ou pour herbicides.
