Abstract

Moteur dont le capot porte la cheminée du pot d'échappement. La cheminée 40 et le parapluie 46 montés sur le capot basculable 16 coopèrent avec la sortie 38 du pot d'échappement et l'entrée 44 du filtre à air respectivement, lorsque le capot est fermé. Un déflecteur 96 situé entre le pot d'échappement et le filtre à air dirige l'air de refroidissement vers la cheminée 40. Celle-ci forme un espace annulaire 90 autour de la sortie 38, ce qui produit un effet d'injecteur qui augmente le tirage de la cheminée 40 et entraîne l'effluent du pot d'échappement Le déflecteur 96 protège le filtre à air 34 de la chaleur de convection et de rayonnement Ces constituants de moteur permettent une bonne isolation calorifique entre le pot d'échappement et le filtre à air placés sous un même capot, tout en favorisant l'évacuation des produits d'échappement
