Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif électro-optique d'affichage utilisant un conducteur ionique solide vitreux. Le dispositif 1 comprend un électrolyte solide vitreux 2, une électrode transparente 3 en contact d'un côté avec l'électrolyte et de l'autre côté avec un substrat transparent épais 5, avec sur l'autre face de l'électrolyte une seconde électrode 4 constituée d'une couche d'un métal générateur d'ions pouvant migrer dans l'électrolyte solide qui répond à la formule générale xMaXb, yM'PO3 avec M choisi parmi K, Na, Ag, Li, Pb; X parmi Br, I, CL, F, O, S, SO4 ; M' choisi parmi Li, Ag, Na. L'invention s'applique notamment aux systèmes électro-optiques d'affichage.
