Abstract

L'invention concerne la fabrication des électrodes négatives. On dépose une couche pulvérulente relativement peu adhérente et fragile sur un ruban métallique continu en faisant passer en continu ce ruban 17 polarisé négativement à travers un bain électrolytique contenu dans une cuve 1 et renfermant des ions du métal actif à déposer; dans le bain plonge une électrode 21a en métal actif et une électrode 21b de compensation ; on consolide la couche pulvérulente au moyen de la calandre 24. Application à la fabrication des électrodes négatives en cadmium ou en zinc pour générateurs électrochimiques.
