Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et une installation pour le traitement de copeaux de bois en vue d'enlever des métaux lourds et de la résine avant une opération ultérieure de délignification ou de défibration. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que, après compression on imprègne les copeaux avec une solution contenant des agents complexants, une substance alcaline et un agent de réduction des ions de métaux lourds et en ce qu'on sépare la solution des copeaux chauffés avant le processus de delignification ou de défibration. Application à la fabrication de pâte à papier.
