Abstract

L'invention concerne un cordeau détonant perfectionné à faible énergie, léger, souple, résistant et non conducteur de l'électricité. Ce cordeau se distingue en ce qu'il a une âme solide, continue consistant en une composition explosive agglomérée déformable constituée par un composé explosif puissant cristallisé, de préférence du tétranitrate de pentaérythritol très fin mélangé à un liant, la charge d'explosif étant de 0,1 g/m; et une gaine protectrice en matière plastique enfermant l'âme, d'épaisseur comprise entre environ 0,125 et 1,90 mm, aucun métal ni tissu n'étant présent autour de l'âme ou de la gaine. Ce cordon détonant est destiné en particulier à l'exploitation minière.
