Abstract
L'invention concernée décrit un procédé et divers dispositifs pour une mesure optique de la température d'un point, d'un corps ou d'un milieu. Sur l'objet ou sur des particules placées dans le milieu à surveiller, il y a une couche de matière phosphorescente émettant sur au moins deux intervalles de longueurs d'ondes optiquement isolables et dont le rapport des intensités dépend de la température de l'objet ou du milieu environnant. On excite la matière phosphorescente et l'on recueille et analyse le rayonnement émis. La technique permet des mesures de températures ponctuelles éloignées dans un milieu environnant hostile, comme dans de grands transformateurs électriques ou d'autres grosses pièces d'equipement, la mesure des températures en surface (structures ou modèles d'aéroplanes que l'on étudie en soufflerie), etc.
