Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour mesurer, sans contact, la distance d'une surface d'un objet par rapport à un plan de référence. Ce dispositif permet de mesurer la distance de la surface d'un objet 13 par rapport à un plan de référence au moyen de la mesure, par un chronomètre 2, de trois intervalles de temps que met un faisceau lumineux produit par une source 12 et dévié par un dispositif 10, pour passer d'une direction à d'autres directions, le chronomètre 2 étant relié à un calculateur 1 qui est programmé suivant un algorithme de calcul dans lequel les intervalles de temps entrent en tant que variables. Application notamment aux appareils de mesure d'épaisseurs d'objets.
