Abstract

Le dispositif a pour but d'améliorer la productivité des métiers à filer dits << open end >> dans lesquels chaque unité de filage est alimentée par un ruban de fibres qui est ouvert, les fibres étant continuellement alimentées, au moyen d'un courant d'air, dans un rotor de filage commandé normalement à tourner à vitesse élevée, duquel les fibres sont extraites sous forme de fil retors. Au cours de la rattache du fil, on commande le rotor 4 à une vitesse constante et inférieure à sa vitesse normale de filage tandis qu'en même temps on commande l'alimentation du ruban de fibres et celle d'extraction du filé 7 à leur vitesse normale pour l'opération de filage. Lorsque le filé est ensuite relié aux fibres dans le rotor de filage, on accélère le rotor jusqu'à le porter à sa vitesse de régime. L'invention s'applique à la rattache du fil soit dans chaque unité de filage soit pour toutes les unités de filage composant le métier à filer complet lors de sa mise en marche.
