Abstract

Structure de cathode comprenant un substrat isolant, une cathode thermoionique positionnée sur l'un des côtés de la surface de ce substrat et des moyens pour extraire une émission électronique de cette cathode, cette structure étant caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une pluralité de plots d'électrode discrets sur cette surface, ladite cathode s'étendant sur une surface de chacun desdits plots de telle façon que des parties séparées de cette cathode soient associées à différents plots et en ce que lesdits moyens d'extraction d'électrons sont disposés de façon espacée par rapport à ladite cathode et auxdits plots.
