Abstract

Supraconducteur multibrin, comportant un grand nombre de filaments de Nb-Ti dans une matrice en alliage d'aluminium, stabilisé par une gaine d'aluminium à haute pureté. On soumet une billette 10 en alliage d'aluminium, dans laquelle sont insérées des tiges 20 en Nb-Ti, à une extrusion, puis on la gaine d'aluminium extra-pur 22 et ensuite de cuivre, on la tréfile, puis on élimine le cuivre à l'acide. Applications courantes.
