Abstract

Diodes photochimiques. Ces diodes photochimiques sont typiquement mises en suspension dans une matrice 10 de produits chimiques réagissants constituants; les diodes ont la forme de diodes de Schottky ou de diodes du type p-n, par exemple pour transformer l'eau en hydrogène plus oxygène (ou eau oxygénée) ou pour transformer l'acide sulfhydrique en hydrogène plus soufre ou pour photocatalyser des réactions chimiques; ces diodes comprennent deux parties, une première partie comprenant une matière semi-conductrice 12 dopée de manière appropriée, à conductibilité donnée et pourvue d'un contact ohmique, et une seconde partie comprenant un métal 18 (type Schottky) ou une matière semi-conductrice dopée de manière appropriée à conductibilité de type opposé à celui de la première partie et pourvue d'un contact ohmique (type p-n). La présente invention est particulièrement utile pour fournir des diodes photochimiques qui utilisent de la lumière pour provoquer des réactions chimiques.
