Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions améliorées pour lingotière. Une lingotière 10 comporte une base 12 et un moule cylindrique 14. Les parois internes 18 et 16 sont revêtues d'une couche 20 d'une composition comprenant 5 à 30 % d'oxyde de fer finement divisé, 1 à 25 % d'un lignosulfonate, le complément étant de l'eau pouvant également contenir de 0,1 à 10 % en poids de graphite finement divisé. Cette composition non toxique et non inflammable empêche la formation d'adhérences sur le moule et donne de ce fait des lingots ayant un bon état de surface.
