Abstract

Procédé et réacteur pour l'obtention d'un gaz combustible chaud exempt de soufre, d'halogènes et de matières particulaires à partir d'un combustible contenant du soufre Ce procédé comprend l'envoi d'oxygène, de vapeur d'eau et/ou de bioxyde de carbone à travers une zone de réaction contenant un oxyde, un hydroxyde, un bicarbonate ou un carbonate d'un metal alcalin ou alcalino-terreux et un combustible carboné tel que du charbon. L'appareil comporte principalement un réacteur 29 ayant une section à co-courant 21 dans la partie supérieure et une section à contre-courant 28 dans la partie inferieure, le gaz obtenu sortant par une canalisation 46 et les matières solides étant évacuées à travers une canalisation 42 pour un traitement de recyclage. Application à la production d'un gaz combustible à partir notamment des ordures et des déchets de la fabrication du papier et autres.
