Tissu non tissé analogue à un tricot et procédé de fabrication d'un tel tissu. Le tissu non tissé selon la présente invention pèse de 4 à 400 g/m**2 et il possède des qualités analogues à un tricot Il est constitué par un voile de fibres organiques synthétiques liées ensemble en plusieurs emplacements distincts, ces emplacements couvrant environ 3 à 50 % de la surface du tissu et les fibres placées entre les emplacements de liage étant frisées Application à un tissu non tissé possédant les qualités de drape analogues à un tricot et notamment un gonflant, une reprise élastique sensiblement complète après cessation d'un allongement biaxial et un module initial d'environ 52,3 g/cm/g/m**2.
