Abstract
Connecteur de câble optique à fibre. Ce connecteur comprend une virole en trois pièces convenant pour des fibres optiques très petites, un fourreau et un écrou à epaulement destinés à être accouplés avec une douille fendue extérieurement filetée. Ce connecteur permet de respecter des tolérances de concentricuté plus étroites que dans le cas des connecteurs de la technique antérieure et assure une transmission de lumière à faibles pertes de l'extrémité d'une fibre donnée à l'extrémité d'une autre fibre. Application aux transmissions par fibres optiques.
