Abstract

La présente invention concerne des terminaisons de fibres optiques utilisées dans des systèmes de télécommunications. Le procédé de réalisation des terminaisons selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'une fibre optique nue est introduite dans une bague déformable ayant des surfaces exactement coaxiales, et qui glisse le long de cette fibre avec un ajustement serré, lesdites bague et fibre étant ensuite poussées dans un organe ayant un trou exactement conique de manière à comprimer la bague sur la fibre en réalisant une fiche de diamètre très supérieur à celui de la fibre, tout en maintenant cette fibre coaxialement à l'intérieur de la fiche. Ces terminaisons sont destinées en particulier aux câbles de télécommunication à fibre optique unique.
