Abstract

Egaliseur optique total pour guides optiques pour télécommunications du type multimode à saut d'indice de réfraction, apte à connecter deux tronçons de guide. Il est constitué par un système optique qui se compose de, ou est équivalent à deux lentilles réfractrices L, L' identiques, coaxiales entre elles et auxdits tronçons de guide g, g', disposées dans deux plans parallèles et perpendiculaires à l'axe du système, ayant une distance foca e f(r) variable selon la distance r a l'axe du système, ladite distance focale f(r) étant une fonction mathématiquement exprimée pour les fibres à faible guidage par la relation :
