Abstract

A solar water heater has a solar panel, the inclination of which is variable, composed of parallel adjacent pipes. The hot water flows out of these pipes at the top in a horizontal cylindrical reservoir which constitutes the hot water tank. Hot water to be used leaves the top of the tank and cold water is fed in at the bottom of the tank. The inclination of the solar panel is obtd. and regulated by movement on a stand to allow for the degree of sunning. Adjustment can be made in accordance with the month of the year and the latitude. The appts. is light, relatively small, simple and reliable, making it suitable for use in all types of mobile installations, esp. caravans.
