Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to collect enough heat quantity at a low cost by a structure wherein the water heater utilizing solar heat is composed of an underframe, which makes one full turn on a track in 24hr and on which a collector housing is tiltingly fixed with a fixed inclination. CONSTITUTION:A collector housing (a) is tiltingly fixed with a desired inclination on the rotary underframe 1. A collector 6 communicates through a feed water pipe 7 and a hot water discharge pipe 8 to a hot water storage tank 17. Water is heated by the collector 6 tracking the sun at all times and stored in the hot water storage tank 17 by convection. Accordingly, the water heater can be manufactured at a remarkably lower cost as compared with a three dimensional tracking type solar heater, which pivots on the horizontal plane and changes its elevation angle, and as well as can collect enough heat quantity.
