Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish effective receiving of heat for higher value of utilization of solar energy by continuously tracing the sun not only during the daytime but also although the seasons employing a lens.
CONSTITUTION: A water storage tank 2 is placed at the center of a frame 1 and foot bases 3 and 3' are provided on both side thereof. Arms 5 and 5' supporting a lens 11 is supported on the foot bases through shafts 6 and 6' and rotating shafts 10 and 10' for worms 9 and 9' are pivoted on subarms 8a and 8b and 8a' and 8b' integral provided on the arm. The lens 11 is pivoted on a lens frame 12 through bearings 14 and 14' rotatively in the direction parpendicular to the arm. The lens frame 12 is pivoted on the arm through support shafts 13 and 13' in such a manner that the lens turns at one cycle per day while the arms 5 and 5' are reciprocally tilted in such a manner as to reach fixed angles of depression and elevation in one cycle per year in the direction at the right angle of lens rotation. In this manner, efficient heat collection can be done.
