Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform the solar heat collection efficiently and safely, by rotating a reflective mirror in accordance with a signal that has detected the direction of the solar heat to allow it to track the sun, and by displacing the reflective mirror from the tracking locus if the liquid temperature within the heat collector exceeds a prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collecting body 1 comprises a reflective mirror 4 attached to an arcuate surface of a frame 3 pivoted on a supporting table 2, and a heat collector 5 having a double cylindrical shape arranged at the focus of the mirror 4, and will be rotated to a tracking position by a servo-motor 7. To a box 8 at the center of an upper end of the frame 3 is arranged a T-shaped light barrier plate 9, on the opposite sides of the plate 9 are arranged photosensors 10, 11, and the servo-motor 7 will be controlled by the output of the sensors 10, 11.
