Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a solar heat accumulator which has a detachable heat accumulating container which can be used for heating or cooking by detacably mounting a heat accumulating container to a sunbeam converging apparatus and inserting one end of a heat pipe into said heat accumulating container while positioning the other end at the light focusing position of said converging apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When the apparatus is used, a heat accumulating unit comprising a container 8 and a heat pipe 14 is mounted on a mounting frame 7 to set on a sunbeam converging apparatus 1. Under said condition, the heat collection from sunbeams is started. Then, the beams reflected by a reflecting mirror 6 gather at one end portion 14B of a heat pipe 14 and heat said portion 14B. Consequently, the working fluid in the heat pipe 14 evaporates to move to the other end portion 14 side and condenses in said portion 14A. With said evaporatin and condensation cycle, the latent heat is supplied to a heat accumulating material 13. On completion of the heat accumulation into said heat accumulating material 13, the heat accumulating unit is detached from the mounting frame 7, and said heat is used for a brazier, a heater or cooking.
