Abstract

A combined cooking and central heating stove has front and rear water jackets arranged in a set parallel to one another, the jackets being staggered in height to improve the delivery of hot water. A further water jacket acts to reduce the hot gas channel for cooking, and improve the straight through the hot gas channel discharging at the rear into the chimney. The sets of water jackets are spaced so that there is more resistance to the gas leaving the heating grid and travelling up between the inside jackets than there is between the outside jackets. A spring loaded door at the front can be pushed against a seating on the door frame to block entry of air. The burner gases delivery channel is controlled by a flap to vary the heat to the combustion chamber.
