Abstract

A covering panel may be attached to a radiator using a pair of parallel vertical Z section members (17) mounted on the panel with flanges (21) extending towards each other. Rectangular plates (24, 25) forming a clip (23) are held together by a spring (28) and rivet (26) centrally placed near their upper edges. The lower edge of one plate (24b) is bent outwards slightly and both plates are of such a width that they will fit between the webs of the Z sections whose flanges of which slide between the plates fairly freely. Horizontal Z section members (12) are permanently fixed to the radiator with their outer flanges pointing upwards so that the lower edges (24a) of the rectangular plates (24) may be hooked over them. This action forces apart the lower edges of the rectangular plates and these pivot about the rivet, thus forcing their upper edges together to grip the vertical Z section flanges firmly.
