Roofs, slating and tiling. -Roofing sheets are secured by clips made from a single metal-strip 1 bent twice to make a hook 4 to engage the lower edge of a sheet and provided with a part 5 bent to engage the girder on one edge, and a projecting part or parts 3 to engage the girder along a second edge. The space 7 between the bent part 2 and the body 1 of the clip is deep to receive the upper edge of the lower sheet.
