Abstract

1,044,978. Anti-dazzle screens. HUNTER DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL (QUEBEC) Ltd. June 12, 1963 [June 12, 1962], No. 23442/63. Heading E1G. An anti-dazzle screen comprises at least two stringers 8 having recesses 10 and/or raised portions 11 supporting a plurality of profiled strips 12, the stringers being supported on posts 7. The stringers are of channel section and may face in the same or opposite directions; being secured to the posts 7 by two part clamps having resilient clips 9. The profiled strips have inturned edges which may be separated from the edges of adjacent strips by gaps 15 and the strips may bear sign markings. In use the panels formed are placed transversely to the roadway at spaced intervals.
